On 2nd September 2011 River Ganga ha started the cutting of Flood protection bounds near village Khera Jalapur Pukhata.Within 24 hours river had damaged almost 2 bounds and half of third bound.District administration started evacuation of probable affected area. At the same time under the direction of District Magistrate Mr.A.V.Rajmauli,different departments had started protection work on war footing.Continuous effort by district administration bound is now safe.
